Who we are

Rent Your Car is operated by SOL TECH GROUP, INC. (“we”, “us”). By using Rent Your Car you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What Rent Your Car is

Rent Your Car is a search and comparison service. We show rental branches, age rules, fees and prices so you can choose where to rent. We are not a rental company, travel agency or booking agent. We don’t own or operate any vehicles, and we don’t take payment for rentals.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Rental companies set their own minimum ages, driver’s license and payment requirements, which may be stricter than what Rent Your Car shows.

Bookings and prices

  • When you click Book, you leave Rent Your Car for a partner’s site or the rental company’s own site. Your booking is a contract between you and that partner or company, under their terms, policies and prices.
  • Prices, availability, fees and rules change often. Live prices are what a partner reported at the time of your search; they can change before you book. Always check the final price and terms on the booking page.
  • Young-driver fees and other amounts we estimate from a company’s policy page are labeled as estimates, with the source and the date we checked it. They’re for comparison only — verify them at booking.
  • Member numbers, statuses and discount codes you save are passed to the company’s booking page for convenience. The company decides whether they apply.
  • Price alerts are a convenience. We don’t guarantee that an alert will be sent, or sent in time.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Account & privacy on the website or in the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl or use bots or other automated means to access or copy Rent Your Car, our API or our data, except through an interface we offer for that purpose;
  • interfere with the service, get around rate limits or security measures, or access other people’s data;
  • use Rent Your Car for anything unlawful, or submit false branch reports.

Affiliate relationships

We may earn a commission when you book through our partners. It doesn’t change your price. Partners don’t pay for ranking. Read How we make money. Showing a company’s name doesn’t mean it endorses us, or that we endorse it.

Our content and data

Rent Your Car’s software, design and text belong to us or our licensors. Branch data derived from OpenStreetMap is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License — see Data & attribution. Partner data is used under each partner’s terms.

No warranty

Rent Your Car is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep information accurate, but we don’t guarantee that branch details, age rules, fees, prices or availability are complete, current or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything that happens under a booking with a partner or rental company. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to US $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE — to be confirmed], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you on the site or by e-mail before it takes effect. Questions? E-mail legal@rentyourcar.co.
